a moment of shock...

v were on our way to Unity Plaza to buy a RAM.... The three wheeler turned into a narrow road... suddenly it crashed with something and heard some glasses shatter... pieces of glasses came inside the three wheel...

I was in a shock, it took me a while to realise that it was an old window left on the side of the road.... One side of the three wheel hit that door.... all the glasses of it shattered.... No worries... nothing happened to us...bt it was a close call :P

Would there be any 4th???

Warm Greetings and Good Wishes on the Occasion of the 39th Republic day of Maldives…

One more year left for us to elect a new president for our country. Would it be someone new with some new plans to develop the country, or would it be still Maumoon who has been ruling the country for the last 29 years, running for his 7th term. Or is there any one among us with a clear mind to choose one from Dr.Hassan Saeed, Ibra, Anni, Umar Naseeru or anyone else except for Maumoon as our future president, for 5 years or another 6 terms?

Question is, would Maumoon get down from the post he has been for the last 29 years? Can he really bear the truth that if not one way or the other, one day he has to change the maumoon uniform of our country. Can we really dream of having a new president in our country or would it be just him who ruled for almost 3 decades showing us dreams that never came true, but we hear of every now and then of his presidency.

If by chance, someone other than Maumoon gets elected as our 4th president that would be a remarkable day in the history of Maldives. But it’s for the new president to decide either it’s a good or a bad choice made by the Maldivians. Let’s see…

Song and Cries...

When birds greets the dawn
with songs and cries
is it instinct,
the mere expression
of their "birdness"?
Not quite, dear one.
It's joy,
boundless, irrepressible,
sing your heart out of joy!

What is love?

Well for me love is a strange thing. It can be the most amazing feeling in the world, or it can really hurt…. While there are many different ways to define love and there are many different ways to love someone (even your self). Love is the continual act of unconditionally putting the needs of others before your own. So whats your opinion about love??

Sunset...

After performing its duty to this half of the world, the sun is saying goodbye and setting down. Its spreading rays changes the colors of the sky and the clouds… With the darkness it brings, it also fills a heart with the bright colors it brings to the world. ..

The big waves come rolling and hit the rocks in the shore with all it’s power… As if it tries to break the rocks into pieces and to pass through… The soft music of the waves never bores anyone. After enjoying a time with family and friends, people slowly headed to their homes and brought peace and calmness. ..

Yeah it was the sunset of Mount Lavinia beach on 31st October… I was there with my niece and nephew... And here are some of the pictures that I took from my camera… Hope you guys will like it…

What will happen next???

S.P. Thamilchelvan, Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam's Political Head was killed in Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) aerial bombardment Friday morning in Ki'linochchi...

Sri Lanka's government has described the killing as a major success. And Sri Lanka's Defence Secretary, Gotabaya Rajapaksa, said: "If we want we can take them one by one, so they must change their hideouts."

The Tamil Tigers' spokesman, Rasiah Ilanthiriyan, told the BBC the group's response to the killing would be in deeds, not words.

So i was wondering what will happen to sri Lanka next... Will it get worse or is SLAF goin to kill all the LTTE heads and bring peace to Sri Lanka..

The rebels are fighting for autonomy for minority Tamils in the north and east, claiming discrimination by the majority Sinhalese population.

About 70,000 people have died in more than 20 years of war.

Congratulations and well done SLAF.... Great job....! And hope You guys will kill all those LTTE sooon and bring peace to the country...

Kiss the rain by Billie Myers

Hello...
Can you hear me
Am I getting through to you

Hello...
Is it late there
Is there laughter on the line
Are you sure you're there alone
Cuz I'm trying to explain
Something's wrong
You just don't sound the same

Why don't you, Why don't you
Go outside, Go outside

Kiss the rain
Whenever you need me
Kiss the rain
Whenever I'm gone too long
If your lips feel lonely and thirsty
Kiss the rain
And wait for the dawn
Keep in mind
We're under the same sky
And the night's
As empty for me as for you
If you feel
You can't wait til morning
Kiss the rain...Kiss the rain...Kiss the rain...

Hello...
Do you miss me
I hear you say you do
But not the way I'm missing you

What's new
How's the weather
Is it stormy where you are
You sound so close
But it feels like you're so far
Oh would it mean anything
If you knew
What I'm left imagining
In my mind, My mind
Would you go, Would you go
Kiss the rain...

As you fall over me
Think of me
Think of me
Think of me
Only me
Kiss the rain
Whenever you need me
Kiss the rain
Whenever I'm gone to long
If your lips feel hungry and tempted
Kiss the rain
And wait for the dawn
Keep in mind
We're under the same sky
And the night's
As empty for me as for you
If you feel you can't wait till morning
Kiss the rain...Kiss the rain...Kiss the rain...
Kiss The Rain.....

Kiss the rain, Kiss the rain, Kiss the rain

Hello...
Can you hear me
Can you hear me
Can you hear me

A very dear relative of mine has passed away last night. He fell off from the ninth floor of central hotel and hit on a roof of an adjoining house. I was shocked to hear the devastating news. I express my deepest condolence to his Family.

During the time when i was in Male' i was staying with them. Nazil was the only boy in their family and he just turned 21 years and 7 months yesterday. I had shared so many good times of my life with them and i treasure those moments.. His parents and 5 sisters loved him so much. Beybe, Dhaththa, Faantha, Dhontha, Kudy, Havi and Aasi, be strong and pray for him..

We will really miss you Nazil :( May Allah bless his soul and grant him eternal bliss.

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY THUTHU

As usual after I woke up and freshen up, I went down stairs to see Thuthu (a nephew) and Nabakko (a niece), who came to SL last Month for holidays. Unlike the other days when Thuthu saw me, he ran to me and asked me "where is the party". (btw, it's his b'day today) I replied him asking which party and he was little shy and told "Today is dhonbe (me), iboobe(My bestfriend), thiththibe (My bestfriend's bro), Nabakko (his cousin) and thiththa 's(my sis/his aunt) birthday. He didn't want to mention his name.

I called a three wheel and while I was waiting in the sitting room with Thuththu and Nabakko, Thuththu was asking me "dhonbey where's the balloons and cakes? Where are the crape papers?" I was just saying I don't have money and his mum n dad didn't send money to celebrate his b'day. I said all that to see his reaction. After I said that he was like, going to burst into tears…

Anyways I was going to buy all those things. And finally in the evening, we had a fun and a joyful b'day party… He was very interested with his b'day gifts. Before he went to sleep, he came and gave me a big hug and a kiss and said thanks. He slept with all his gift.; BTW today is one of my very closest friend's b'day too… I wish her a Happy Birthday too…

RAMADAN MOON - YUSUF ISLAM

Its a new song from Yusuf Islam . Yusuf Islam (Arabic: يوسف إسلام) (born Steven Demetre Georgiou on 21st July 1948 in London), who was known as Cat Stevens from 1966 to 1978, is an English musician, singer-songwriter, educator, philanthropist and prominent convert to Islam.
Here is the lyrics of that songs...

Oh the people are coming and going
Getting ready, to-ing and fro-ing
There's a buzz in the world tonight
People are so excited
Daddy's coming home soon
Hoping to see the moon
Hoping to catch a sight
Everyone's so happy

Moon, moon, come out soon
We're out to see the Ramadan Moon
Clouds shift; fog lift!
City put out your lights
We want to see the Ramadan Moon - tonight!

Now Ramadan has started
And the moon has just been sighted
Tomorrow we all fast
Every Muslim must
Now 'Esha time is here
And it's time to leave for prayer
The Imam is in the Mosque
The Qur'an is in his heart

Moon, moon, come out soon
We're out to see the Ramadan Moon
Clouds shift; fog lift!
City put out your lights
We want to see the Ramadan Moon - tonight!

Moon ... Ramadan Moon

From the early break of dawn
We'll go the whole day long
Shops are full of dates
But still we have to wait
Till the sun goes down
And it's time to break our siyyam
The food is on the plate
Ooh! It tastes so good

Moon, moon, come out soon
We're out to see the Ramadan Moon
Clouds shift; fog lift!
City put out your lights
We want to see the Ramadan Moon - tonight!

C'mon, c'mon Ramadan Moon ...Ramadan Moon

Now Granddad's in I'tiqaf
Only ten days are left
He's praying every night
Dressed all in white
Hands held high
With tears in his eye
Asking for forgiveness
And Paradise

Moon, moon, come out soon
We're out to see the Ramadan Moon
Clouds shift; fog lift!
City put out your lights
We want to see the Ramadan Moon - tonight!

Moon ... Ramadan Moon

Now its time again for Eid
Ramadan ran with speed
Will it come again?
Like an old friend?
Ramadan Moon
Like an old friend?
Ramadan Moon

DISTANCE IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD IN A RELATIONSHIP

Distance cannot, and will not hurt a bond between two people that is based on mutual respect, trust, commitment, and love.

Although you may feel like you are losing faith in your relationship at times, hold fast and trust your heart!

I, like you, truly believe that love & relationships are what make your life special, and that ones built on love & understanding are always worth preserving, regardless of the miles that may separate two people.

BIZARRE

As of July 2007, the world population reached 6.7 billion. If some one says all those people should be the same, would you believe that?

Different people believe different religion, communicate in different languages, live in different countries and states of different standards, live in different cultures and have different natures. So how can we believe that all should be same? People adjust to their living standards and styles, but though a family lives under one roof, they don't acquire same attributes as the other. They will be different, from the way they think and the way they behave.

So, is there any point that I and you should be same? No!!! I'll be the way I want, the way my brains transmits the message. But what we should think of is that, we have to do the right things at the right time.

My point is, though we have a brain to decide what we do, we should also respect other's feelings. We shouldn't be selfish. Shouldn't be so proud of what we have, and never should try to be a person of all the good qualities. We humans make mistakes.

This life of ours is bizarre. It's not complete without a bit of jealousy, anger, sorrow, happiness and peace… They all are mixed together to complete one's life. It's a fact we all know.

The best food of our life is prayers and faith in Allah. The best diet is fasting. All the best things in life are ours to choose from. But why do our minds seek the wrong path? Bizarre!

So we should think of Allah, the one who gave us a brain to think. First we should believe him. Second we should believe the Holy Qura'n and we should follow it.

BACK ON TRACK

hey there! hi! do u know me? It's the wild hunter, back to blogging again. I couldn't resist without coming back. My best friend's girl gave me the inspiration to get back on the track again. That's also almost after one year. Made a bet with her, and now i owe her a box of ferrero for not updating my blog before the beginning of this month.
