White flowers with a message to Police 'STOP TORTURE'

A new group of youth activists, Gaumataka, meaning for the nation, marked the 3rd anniversary yesterday of the brutal killing of Evan Naseem by the Maldives police. Along, with 919 pictures taken by a member, while flowers were laid on the doorsteps of the police HQ in Male'.

The human rights activists delivered white lilies and roses to the police headquarters in Male’, the Maldivian High Commission in London and to the head office of President Gayoom’s public relations company, Hill & Knowlton. READ MORE
