How to Act on Your First Date With a Girl

You just asked a girl out. Your stomach feels all queasy, but in a good way. You're going to see her tomorrow. What do you do?

Steps
1. Stay calm.
2. Smile a lot.
3. Say her name whenever possible; they like that.
4. Engage in conversation. Girls like guys who let them talk, so let her go, and drop comments when needed.
5. Be polite, but not obsessive about your manners.
6. Make sure to talk about her! Comment on how good she looks or something.
7. Be yourself. Be comfortable with her. This is key to developing a healthy relationship.
8. If you have to sneeze or blow your nose in the bathroom.
9. If in the movies, don't talk a lot and let her choose the movie
10.Make sure you have enough money! or she'll be mad and will never go out with you again

Tips
• Wear something nice.
• Maybe put on some cologne, but not too much, because some girls don't like the smell very much.
• It helps to be mature, because the one thing girls hate is a guy who acts immature! This is very important!
• Ask for her number at the end of the date.

Warnings
• Do not be so concentrated on these steps on the date, or she'll think you're crazy.
• If you don't call her...It's over.
• If you don’t have enough money, ask your parent(s) for some money. if not, she'll tell everyone
• Make sure your parents are ok with you dating!

Appy mi othee emmefahun tale eh hadhaafa dhoa??

Everyone, Appy (www.appystale.blogspot.com) has launched a blog of her own. So wish Appy’s Tale a happy birthday and give her a warm welcome. Well I think I should explain the whole process of this tale to all my fellow bloggers and readers.

Appy’s bf, iboo asked me to convince appy to start blogging. He asked me to design one for her if she says yes (he didn’t know that she was goin to say no for that). I tried to convince her and she ….…. Gimme a sec I think I saved the whole conversation I had with her that night. oh! Sorry I deleted that …. Anyway, she said “NO NO” and that she hasn’t got what it takes to blog and it’s not her field. (vashafaru meehun unbah jehee dho :P) and she told she can’t. She said its enough for her that we have a blog. She also said that, though his bf asks her to make one also, her answer won't change ..(But now see what she did for him)

Later one day Appy asked me to make her a blog.. And she told she wants to make that blog as a birthday surprise for her bf. I wondered what changed her mind. I think after one week I started designing her blog.

How did I manage to do it without letting iboo know? You can’t even imagine how much trouble I faced because of this Appy’s tale. I had to close and lock my room door during the time I designed it. I know Appy’s bf will know that I am doing something secretly coz sometimes I didn’t close the door when he comes to my room. I always minimize Firefox browser, photoshop and all my works… I was really scared when I gave him my pc to him during the time his one was crashed.. Fortunately he didn’t use my hard disk. But I have to thank Iboo a lot regarding Appy’s Tale.. coz i am learning phtoshop from him and for the Appy’s Tale, I used some of his ideas saying that I was just playing around with Photoshop.

Hope Appy’s Tale is going to be interesting to you all. Start writing your tales, Appy! We can’t wait to see them :D

a moment of shock...

v were on our way to Unity Plaza to buy a RAM.... The three wheeler turned into a narrow road... suddenly it crashed with something and heard some glasses shatter... pieces of glasses came inside the three wheel...

I was in a shock, it took me a while to realise that it was an old window left on the side of the road.... One side of the three wheel hit that door.... all the glasses of it shattered.... No worries... nothing happened to us...bt it was a close call :P

Warm Greetings and Good Wishes on the Occasion of the 39^th Republic day of Maldives…

One more year left for us to elect a new president for our country. Would it be someone new with some new plans to develop the country, or would it be still Maumoon who has been ruling the country for the last 29 years, running for his 7^th term. Or is there any one among us with a clear mind to choose one from Dr.Hassan Saeed, Ibra, Anni, Umar Naseeru or anyone else except for Maumoon as our future president, for 5 years or another 6 terms?

Question is, would Maumoon get down from the post he has been for the last 29 years? Can he really bear the truth that if not one way or the other, one day he has to change the maumoon uniform of our country. Can we really dream of having a new president in our country or would it be just him who ruled for almost 3 decades showing us dreams that never came true, but we hear of every now and then of his presidency.

If by chance, someone other than Maumoon gets elected as our 4^th president that would be a remarkable day in the history of Maldives. But it’s for the new president to decide either it’s a good or a bad choice made by the Maldivians. Let’s see…

What is love?

Well for me love is a strange thing. It can be the most amazing feeling in the world, or it can really hurt…. While there are many different ways to define love and there are many different ways to love someone (even your self). Love is the continual act of unconditionally putting the needs of others before your own. So whats your opinion about love??

The big waves come rolling and hit the rocks in the shore with all it’s power… As if it tries to break the rocks into pieces and to pass through… The soft music of the waves never bores anyone. After enjoying a time with family and friends, people slowly headed to their homes and brought peace and calmness. ..

S.P. Thamilchelvan, Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam's Political Head was killed in Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) aerial bombardment Friday morning in Ki'linochchi...

Sri Lanka's government has described the killing as a major success. And Sri Lanka's Defence Secretary, Gotabaya Rajapaksa, said: "If we want we can take them one by one, so they must change their hideouts."

The Tamil Tigers' spokesman, Rasiah Ilanthiriyan, told the BBC the group's response to the killing would be in deeds, not words.

So i was wondering what will happen to sri Lanka next... Will it get worse or is SLAF goin to kill all the LTTE heads and bring peace to Sri Lanka..

The rebels are fighting for autonomy for minority Tamils in the north and east, claiming discrimination by the majority Sinhalese population.

About 70,000 people have died in more than 20 years of war.

A very dear relative of mine has passed away last night. He fell off from the ninth floor of central hotel and hit on a roof of an adjoining house. I was shocked to hear the devastating news. I express my deepest condolence to his Family.

During the time when i was in Male' i was staying with them. Nazil was the only boy in their family and he just turned 21 years and 7 months yesterday. I had shared so many good times of my life with them and i treasure those moments.. His parents and 5 sisters loved him so much. Beybe, Dhaththa, Faantha, Dhontha, Kudy, Havi and Aasi, be strong and pray for him..

We will really miss you Nazil :( May Allah bless his soul and grant him eternal bliss.

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY THUTHU

As usual after I woke up and freshen up, I went down stairs to see Thuthu (a nephew) and Nabakko (a niece), who came to SL last Month for holidays. Unlike the other days when Thuthu saw me, he ran to me and asked me "where is the party". (btw, it's his b'day today) I replied him asking which party and he was little shy and told "Today is dhonbe (me), iboobe(My bestfriend), thiththibe (My bestfriend's bro), Nabakko (his cousin) and thiththa 's(my sis/his aunt) birthday. He didn't want to mention his name.

I called a three wheel and while I was waiting in the sitting room with Thuththu and Nabakko, Thuththu was asking me "dhonbey where's the balloons and cakes? Where are the crape papers?" I was just saying I don't have money and his mum n dad didn't send money to celebrate his b'day. I said all that to see his reaction. After I said that he was like, going to burst into tears…

Anyways I was going to buy all those things. And finally in the evening, we had a fun and a joyful b'day party… He was very interested with his b'day gifts. Before he went to sleep, he came and gave me a big hug and a kiss and said thanks. He slept with all his gift.; BTW today is one of my very closest friend's b'day too… I wish her a Happy Birthday too…
